I edited the grammar in the "Plot" section, in order to make it conform to standard written English. MAJackson1 (talk) 09:49, 17 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I add content for list of voice actress in anime in Wikipedia, to confirm that they have their all works listed. Asmita Debnath (talk) 10:58, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Character list[edit]

@Phoenix God: Hi, I saw you undid Maplestrip's edit where they removed minor characters from the list. We actually do have pages in the manual of style (Anime- and manga-related articles and Writing about fiction) about what to do with plot sections and character lists in articles. According to these, character lists should "consist of brief character outlines", with the length and inclusion of any given character depending on their "importance to the story"; they should also "not be divided into numerous sub-sections", and "if the character section grows long, please reconsider the amount of detail or number of characters included". So no, we can't list all the minor characters; I do think it's fair to include Claw in some form, though.--IDVtalk 08:42, 4 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@IDV: Okay i understand your point. But at least spare the main villains. Because if the boss of Claw can not be listed on wikipedia than Orochimaru and Madara Uchiha should also be deleted from Naruto article. Because they don't have any direct animosity towards Naruto. --- Phoenix God (talk) 09:08, 4 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your latest revision looks good to me! (also I haven't read Naruto, so I don't know those characters, ha)--IDVtalk 09:11, 4 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I agree about reducing it to essential characters. I've been trying to trim down List of One-Punch Man characters but it's proving to be very difficult as there are like 50-100 superheroes with profiles on the anime website, and they even made profiles for minor villains, so that one's having to be stuck with a separate article. If only the animanga WikiProject worked with reliable, third-party sources in order to establish notability of characters in such lists. Thanks all for working this out, though. I'm very happy with how the article looks now ^_^ ~Mable (chat) 15:11, 4 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Here's the cast/staff list [1] from the anime website. I also see about 10 characters on their characters list [2]. It should have those ones for main, and then yes, if you need to add the most important recurring villains then go for it. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 18:04, 4 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Licensing[edit]

I was looking at images of the physical release of the Mob Psycho on DVD/BD, and from inspection of the image, I don't believe that Funimation is the licensee, but rather is the distributor for Crunchyroll, who holds the license. Although not released, images of the packaging are available on websites like RightStufAnime and Amazon. Upon closer inspection of the spine of the packaging, although you can see the logo of Funimation, Crunchyroll's logo is also visible above it, and also, the catalog number on the spine has a prefix of "CR", which is for Crunchyroll. Funimation releases usually have a prefix of "FN" on the catalog number. (Image on: [3])

As such, I believe that Crunchyroll is the licensee for this series within North America, with Funimation responsible for dubbing and actually getting these releases into stores. Alex Tenshi (talk) 03:57, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I checked the physical release and it says "English Version by Crunchyroll". Normally Funimation licensed titles would have "English Version by Funimation(r) Productions Ltd." on it, but this doesn't. Alex Tenshi (talk) 16:07, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
