I Don't Understand Any of This[edit]
Under the Personal Life section, it says: "Bell attempted a snapmare armdrag on Perry, which left Perry "out on [his] feet" leading to a legitimate assault by Saturn on Mike Bell. Neither sustained serious injury."
I don't know if it's jargon, but, as a guy unfamiliar with the incident, this doesn't clearly explain what the incident was, or if (and I assume it did) it had noteworthy repercussions. 50.50.84.245 (talk) 15:49, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
I've got to agree. Wrestling jargon might have it's place on a wrestling site, but it has no place here. A legitimate assault? What does that even mean? It wasn't scripted but he won't be penalized for it? 108.249.235.44 (talk) 08:58, 27 April 2015 (UTC)
Cause/Manner of Death[edit]
Can someone find a reliable citation to his manner of death? This is left out of the article, but 37 seems like premature death even for someone whose career is a series of batterings. I have found the following blog that describes his cause of death as heart attack. The following is copied and pasted directly from the blog post to avoid mischaracterizing the information, with the only addition being the [sic] denotation:
"The death of former Poughkeepsie resident Mike Bell at age 37 was caused by a heart attack brought on by an accidental inhalation of difluoroethane, a chemical used in Dust-Off, a household maintenance product, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported on Wednesday. The Orange County, Calif. coroners’s [sic] office confirmed the cause of death as Acute 1,1 difluoroethane inhalation. Bell died on Dec. 14 at a sober living facility in Costa Mesa, Calif., where he was celebrating 60 days of sobriety. When he passed away, self-inflicted death and foul play were both ruled out, his brother Chris said on Dec. 15." [1]
The reason I hesitate to update his article to reflect this cause of death is two-fold: 1. It does not appear to be 'accidental inhalation' (as the blog reports) given the context of his death. 2. Blog posts do not seem to be exactly reliable reports of cause/manner of death.
Someone with more knowledge about the situation should verify this information before it is added to his page. RedDarling (talk) 16:26, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
