Director -> Special Agent in Charge[edit]

look at Jack's profile at the official 24 website(http://www.fox.com/24/profiles/), it states: "Former Special Agent in Charge", not Director of CTU. This includes George Mason, Jack Bauer, Tony Almeida and the others who held the position.

Fair use rationale for Image:MichelleD04.jpg[edit]

Image:MichelleD04.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Article Destruction[edit]

It’s so nice to see yet another good article being destroyed by the WikiNazis. Pages that are 10 times longer are not having huge chunks of them deleted by these self appointed article killers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.86.238.12 (talk) 08:45, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merger[edit]

KEEP this article as it is. It should not be merged as Michelle Dessler was a major character on the show for three seasons. The reason given is irrational as certain characters are the ones who are the foundation for the show, whether or not they are still on it. This merger madness has run amok and is out of control. --MiB-24 (talk) 07:01, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

KEEP Oh you have got to be kidding me!!!! Would someone mind explaining to me how the heck Michelle Dessler was a MINOR character? She appeared in seasons 2-5, being a MAJOR character in seasons 2-4!! At one point, she was even the director of CTU! This is getting completely out of hand. I say enough of the senseless merging. Just because a character is deceased doesn't mean they were a minor character. How absurd!!! Angelriver 18:23, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

KEEP as Michelle Dessler was a major character on the show for Seasons 2-4 and the first episode of Season 5. As was pointed out, she was Director of CTU, the same position Jack Bauer once held. Wanting to merge such an important character into the a page for minor ones is just nuts. --208.180.22.12 23:05, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

KEEP as per above. How can anyone who has seen all seasons of this show think Michelle is minor?? I completely agree with all that's been said. These merges have gotten out of control.--Phoenixfan 17:39, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

KEEP Michelle Dessler was indeed a major character in "24" she had a massive story-arc centered around her in Season 3 alone, and the actress who played her had either lead or special guest star status in three of the four seasons in which she featured. It would certainly seem that the individual calling for this merger, is just using "wikipedia policy" etc as an excuse to seriously reduce or entirely eradicate references to characters and actors/actresses that she personally dislikes. We should make sure that this doesn't happen. Nick-Stone22 04:07, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: You might be interested to know that Sherry Palmer, Audrey Raines and Kim Bauer, along with Tony Almeida, have also been tagged for merging into the "Minor Characters" page. Angelriver 05:10, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

KEEP She was an important lead character for 3 seasons, and her death on the show might become important, now that it has been revealed that Tony is going to return. The Young Ones 08:12, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

KEEP Very important character, around for four seasons, with a major impact in three of them, mentioned after her death, a temporrary director of CTU, the wife of Tony Almeida. Nothing more needs to be said. asyndeton 12:25, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Keep. She's one of the most important characters in the series. Even after her death, the influence of her character on Tony continues to be felt. —Lowellian (reply) 06:18, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
