Sales[edit]

First of all, I can only confirm that the album Krifo Fili was certified 2x plat. IFPI Greece does not usually update certifications, so naturally albums from the 90s that were certified plat could now easily have sold twice that amount. Thus, it is interesting that Krifo Fili would have an updated certification. Anyway, it has to stay at 2 until we have a ref. Also are we sure that Oniro Zo was certified 3x plat. That sounds like a lot, especially in 2005 when the thresholds had not yet been changed. Was it possibly released at the end of the year and thus it was not certified until 2006? This would make sense b/c 2005 was a pretty lame year for single sales. At the 2006 Arions, Nikos Vertis was awarded for best-selling CD single for "Pes To Mou Xana" which was only certified platinum (Hatzigiannis who was #1 in 2003 sold over 60,000 copies of "Monos Mou", while Rouvas who was number one in 2004 sold over 110,000 of "Shake It"). He even beat Paparizou who won ESC, following 2nd and 3rd with Mambo and My #1 respectively, so how does Hatzigiannis fit into this. So if it was certified in 06 its sales would be closer to 45,000, but can we please confirm the 3x plat claim. GreekStar12 (talk) 11:22, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
