Name:[edit]

This article gives his real name as Gus Efstratiou. I've seen it elsewhere as Constantine Ioannides or Joanides. Ioannides was his father's surname and Efstratiou was his mother's, so unless he was "illegitimate" (I hate that usage), wouldn't he have his father's? Also, "Gus" is commonly used in English-speaking countries as a nickname for Constantine by men of Greek ancestry because of the similarity in sound to the Greek nickname Kosta(s). It is, of course, not impossible that "Gus" could have been given to him as his "real" name. Anyone know? Kostaki mou (talk) 03:43, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
