Scope of article[edit]

Editors: This article should contain info on metal spinning as a manufacturing process as well as an art. As both of these processes are different, be sure not to remove content related to one process if you are only famillar with the other. The introduction has been adjusted to reflect a birds eye view of both applications and information should not be removed to skew content towards one application. Please add content, but remove content only if it is wrong or not applicable. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a how-to or a forum for original research or opinions. Thank you. Title[edit]

Is "metal spinning" an industry accepted term? I've heard it called "spinning" and "spin forming", but not "metal spinning". As such I propose that the title be changed to either "spinning (metalworking)" or "spin forming". --Wizard191 (talk) 23:20, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- Yes, especially within the UK. Metal Spinning is a widely used term within Industry. - C.B — Preceding unsigned comment added by Curtis Bligh (talkcontribs) 15:20, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
