Suggested merge[edit]

There's enough room in the present article to include the content from Status of Meskel Square and having it all in place is a benefit to the reader since the content is in context. Pichpich (talk) 19:55, 1 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Pichpich: The article must be separate because there is a background of the square that is serving as forerunner of the topic. There are also a lot of disputes in the square by major religious denominations recently, and can be expanded through news sources. The Supermind (talk) 13:29, 3 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Of course it can be expanded but there's still no reason to have it as a separate article. Note also that the "Purpose" section is not really tied to the status of Meskel Square. There's plenty of room to merge into a more solid single article. Pichpich (talk) 16:49, 3 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
