End date[edit]

@TryKid: Why don't put this source in the mainspace of the article, not in the edit summary. Thank you, Siddiqsazzad001 <Talk/> 13:28, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Siddiqsazzad001, I think I heard somewhere that Bollywood Life is a gossip site. So, I think citing for basic stuff like end date is ok, but it will encourage others to cite for important things like future cast which may be false gossip. End date is very trivial, I don't think anyone here doubts the claim that it ended on 11 May because it is very clear that it was supposed to end early and end near June as the channel changes programming.
So, basically, I don't think the Bollywood Life is very reliable source. Thank you. TryKid (talk) 13:37, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Siddiqsazzad001: Bollywoodlife is not a reliable source so it will be removed ultimately so there is no point to add it. All Discovery Jeet series are over now but there is no reliable source which can tell exact date on which a series ended so either we can can add the end date without any source or we can remove it as there is no deadline on Wikipedia. Sid95Q (talk) 13:43, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@TryKid:: That is the point. Wikipedia doesn't want that what you heard from somewhere. Every content must be verifiable. So its better to wait for the reliable source. I don't think that Bollywood Life is a non-reliable source. Thank you, Siddiqsazzad001 <Talk/> 13:51, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Siddiqsazzad001: I think we had a conversation about Bollywoodlife and other sources on Talk:Mariam Khan - Reporting Live. Sid95Q (talk) 13:55, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Sid95Q: I agree with only IWM buzz. Not Tellychakkar and Bollywood Life. Siddiqsazzad001 <Talk/> 13:58, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Siddiqsazzad001, You're technically right and that's the best kind of right. Go ahead and remove it. I'm 0K with that.
There are no citations except Bollywood Life for the ending date so, Sid95Q, should we cite it even if it is a bad reference for more important things?TryKid (talk) 14:12, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Siddiqsazzad001: As per Cyphoidbomb Gossip rags like Bollywoodlife are not acceptable, regardless of who owns them, though I might sometimes give some latitude if we're quoting an interview (primary source) or supporting some piece of innocuous information like a release date. But never for financial figures or other content. So we can add bollywoodlife with citation "Better source required". But there will still some users who will remove it in future just by reading the sites name. Sid95Q (talk) 14:05, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I am not in favour of adding this site because Indian TV articles are filled with disruptive users who will give example of this page in future to justify the addition of Bollywood life. Still not able to understand their logic where they think otherstuff is superior that MOS. Sid95Q (talk) 14:12, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Sid95Q: Yep! We can add Bollywood Life as citation. We can use this source as news. If we don't use gossip side of Bollwood Life. (ex. Upcoming twists, Upcoming casts etc} Then it will be fine for Wikipedia. Thank you, Siddiqsazzad001 <Talk/> 14:25, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Siddiqsazzad001: This source could be fine here But avoid accepting draft with this source and other mentioned sources. Warm Regards. Sid95Q (talk) 14:30, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
