No , it is totaly FALSE ! it is one of his old-grand parent (father) who was french ! so 1/8 of is ascendance is french. it is RIDICULOUS to mention it !

above all in USA ! where most people come to Europe (or elsewhere)

It's not irrelevant to mention the fact that she's of French descent. Melanie has been asked in numerous interviews about her last name and how it's pronounced. Oudin is a French name, and by identifying this fact it helps unfamiliar readers learn about Melanie's background and where her unusual last name comes from. --Simonsaystennis (talk) 02:55, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
