Ok, there is something amiss with my first couple of references that I just can't figure out for the life of me:
"Megoura viciae is a large, green aphid in the family Aphididae [1]that feeds on plants in the genus Vicia.[2] They are commonly known as Vetch Aphids for this reason.[3]"
That should go 1, 2 and 2 but just goes 1, 1, 1. I'll bet its an obvious screw up on my part but please do let me know if anyone can fix it or tell me what I've done so badly wrong. Man Over-bored (talk) 11:36, 29 January 2015 (UTC)
- @Man Over-bored: I'm not sure why that happened, but it works now after I changed the curly quotes to straight quotes and added closing quotation marks. jonkerz ♠talk 22:51, 29 January 2015 (UTC)

Viviparous or egg-laying or what?[edit]
Hi! There seems to be a contradiction in the Megoura_viciae#Life_cycle section where it (the bug) is described as Viviparous and laying eggs. Viviparous page says live-bearing as opposed to egg-laying. Confused. Saintrain (talk) 16:35, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
- @Saintrain: good catch but it could indeed be both, depending on where the aphid is in its generational cycle. I forget the exact terminology but ill have a look and update if i can. Man Over-bored (talk) 21:16, 7 February 2015 (UTC)
