Injured non-chief of staff[edit]

"...a raid on 15 March that injured Chief of the Army General Staff Hans Krebs"

But according to Wikipedia, deputy chief Hans Krebs didn't become Chief of staff until April 1.2A02:AA1:1623:ED3:2D4D:DA11:5F38:24F6 (talk) 10:49, 27 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"at Maybach II in a safe at Zossen" etc[edit]

Maybach IS in Zossen, as we have been told in the article, so why the "at Zossen"? Answer: Because this is a typical phrase in the the literature (I think Shirer says something very similar).

Then there's "excerpts from the diary of Wilhelm Canaris". Why would anyone make "excerpts" from the diary? Answer: A mistranslation. It should say "parts of the diary".94.191.152.198 (talk) 10:23, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

From https://avalon.law.yale.edu/imt/11-30-45.asp it's evident that this was a semi-official diary, with conference notes etc., and that Erwin Lahousen kept copies of his own contribution. That's different, never mind the above comment. 2A02:AA1:161C:FF50:BD14:BD9F:94D8:BF87 (talk) 10:35, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
