Infobox[edit]

Infobox equestrian is used primarily for Olympic and FEI competitors. Infobox person would probably work better here. Montanabw ^(talk) 23:36, 27 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If I knew how to make infoboxes, I'd make one for horse trainers with parameters that worked best for adding the disciplines, awards, honors, etc.. I posted a request for help on the TP of userbox project page. ^{Atsme📞📧} 05:27, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Frankly, the fewer distinct infoboxes the better, probably; I wonder if there is a way to add optional parameters to the horseracing personality one... meh. Montanabw ^(talk) 08:35, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Montanabw - Rexx created one that will work but just needs a bit of tweaking. I noted the issue on the project page. I'd also like to see a category like Equine Hall of Fame, or Equestrian Hall of Fame or Equestrian Lifetime Achievements (maybe subcategory Trainers), and/or the like. If we already have it, it's not showing up when I try to add categories to an article. It will help readers quickly look up others who have such recognition.

I would keep HOF under Honors or Lifetime achievement -- see all the jockey profiles in the horse racing infobox. Montanabw ^(talk) 06:13, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
