Deactivation[edit]

According to the plaque found by Tbhotch retirement date was August 1970. Rowlett also says 1970. Do you have a source for June 1978? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 15:03, 24 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@MSGJ This source, if reliable. ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:04, 24 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Doesn't look particularly reliable! Also, I'm not 100% sure if it referring to the same lighthouse. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 15:11, 24 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@MSGJ Ok, please feel free to update the article appropriately. I'm totally open to whatever changes other editors (especially those at WikiProject Lighthouses) think are best. ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:14, 24 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@MSGJ: Do you know how to display a map now that coordinates have been added? ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:12, 30 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. if you go to the wikidata item Matamoros Lighthouse (Q109188773) and click add statement and then select coordinate location then the infobox will display the map automatically. Don't be surprised if it looks plain blue; that normally sorts itself out after a few hours. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 20:58, 30 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
