Filming period?[edit]

I haven't looked super in-depth at any recent articles- is there any article(s) that tells when this season was filmed? Most I currently know is that it was filmed sometime around 2018/2019:

Given the fact that Oz was pregnant at the time of filming (she announced the pregnancy in March 2019 and gave birth in August 2019)
This article from People in July 2019 which confirmed the renewal for the eighth season, including photos of the MasterChef Junior set from the season

Beyond that, I'm not sure when exactly the season was filmed (not looking for exact dates, but mostly just month(s)). Magitroopa (talk) 21:59, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I've just updated the article based upon two of the contestant name sources, though the most those (and other sources already in the article as well) sources seem to give is that it was filmed in 2019/entirely pre-pandemic. If anyone comes upon any article(s) that gives a more specific (month(s)?) filming period, feel free to add that in. Magitroopa (talk) 22:52, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Cruz last name[edit]

What should be done regarding this?- what appears to be his own Instagram says his name is 'Cruz Benjamin'. Meanwhile, I've just found this article from just a few days ago saying his name is Cruz Ramirez (haha, probably not related to same-named character in Cars 3). How should this be handled? I'd say the Patch article is far more reliable than what appears to be their Instagram (which I would think might go a bit against WP:USERG...?)

Also doesn't help much when I'm pretty sure articles like this pull the information such as last names straight-from Wikipedia (I've definitely seen Gold Derby do it as well, as I've previously mentioned at Talk:MasterChef (American season 11)#Annai's last name?). S9 Drafted[edit]
