Former name[edit]

An editor has repeatedly tried to remove the former name of subject of this article, without explanation. If the name is correct, then removing it is problematic, because it is the name under which the subject accumulated most of the recognition being reported in the article. If the name is not correct, then we have a problem, because this article is all about a person who had this name. I recommend that the editor put forth their reasons for deleting the information and secure consensus before deleting it again. --Nat Gertler (talk) 16:00, 16 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Liburdi source[edit]

Can someone explain why she changed her name? Was it through marriage? Ranze (talk) 02:05, 5 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Arrest information[edit]

There have been attempts recently to delete the information on the subject's arrest. As this was an arrest that received significant coverage, as the crime was non-trivial, and as we are not giving in any way undue coverage of this (at this point, it's not even listed in the intro), I see no reason why this information should be removed, and the deletion attempts have included no useful edit summary. If the editor involved would like to argue for the removal on the basis of some Wikipedia policy or guidelines, I suggest that they raise the matter here on the talk page and achieve consensus for its removal. --Nat Gertler (talk) 14:30, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

DOJ press release[edit]

An IP editor just replaced the section of the fraud conviction with material that was copy/pasted from this DOJ press release. I have undone the edit, as it was not in proper format (quoting material without citing a source - in this case, not a copyright violation because the press release is presumably the output of the federal government, but a plagiarism issue nonetheless), and as the edit deleted significant other information about the history of the arrest. This is not in any way to imply that there is not material that might be of value in that press release, but if there is, it should be integrated and cited, rather than just replacing the material. --Nat Gertler (talk) 18:49, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Conviction deletion[edit]

There have now been repeated attempts by IPs and first-edit users to delete information on the subject's fraud conviction. This is important information carried in a number of sources, and no reason has been given for the deletion. If you wish to see this material gone, first engage on this talk page and achieve consensus before deleting again. --Nat Gertler (talk) 21:32, 16 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
