Date confusion[edit]

"The Gazette merged with the Evening Capital after being purchased by Capital owner William Abbott in 1919. The newspaper was promoted to twice-weekly publication in 1969 and primarily covered the north county area."

This claim does correctly convey the source, but the source seems to be wrong. Here it is reproduced in the wayback machine:

The Library of Congress' Chronicling America page says that this happened in 1910, though, and is supported by the presence of 1910 issues as being digitized.
