Discussion About Encyclopedia Reference[edit]

The page says it includes material from the first edition of an encyclopedia that was published in 1905, which was three years before the publication of her first novel (The Tenants, 1908)?? What can the article from the 1905 encyclopedia possibly have to say about Mrs. Watts, seeming as she wasn't a published author yet?

She was my great, great aunt, by the way. I may be able to update this page with better information.
