Edit war 26 January–19 February 2019[edit]

@Avatar317 and Avman89: Please stop edit warring. If you two have an issue with each other's edits, you should talk it out. If you continue reverting each other's edits, especially if you violate the three-revert rule, I will report this incident to the administrators' noticeboard. Talking has been of precious little use, since the other user is convinced for some bizarre reason that one specific reference, of the seven on this article and the millions on Wikipedia, needs to have the relevant passage quoted in the reference itself. The reference in question is not even that long of an article, so it's not hard to find the relevant passage (click on it, and Ctrl+F for "market urbanism"), and the quote itself is also in the body of the Market urbanism article itself. I don't who the arbiter of these things are. Feel free to let any administrators know. I have been editing Wikipedia since 2004 and have never encountered such bizarre stubbornness.
It also appears to me from the other user's Talk page that he/she is frequently involved in edit wars, which does not surprise me in the slightest.
I removed this page from my watchlist, and will no longer be editing. Do whatever the hell you want. I have bigger fish to fry than debating know-it-all Wikipedians. It's disappointing to see such insecure persons associated with the market urbanism movement, but what can I do? Mirza Ahmed (talk) 05:38, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
