Marital rights[edit]
This article is a redirect from the phrase above, but "marital rights" refers to more than just the financial. For one thing, it is a wide-spread euphemism for the right of husbands to have sex with their wives. Until this right was challenged, marital rape simply didn't exist, legally speaking, and of course in many places that is still the case. BrainyBabe (talk) 18:52, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
