Year of birth/age at death[edit]

Does anyone have a reliable source to support April 5, 1903, (or even the year 1903) as Aye's date of birth? The Rome News-Tribune/International News Service article cited in the article gives her age at death as 45, as does her obituary in the Los Angeles Times. That age would make her year of birth 1905 or 1906. I am inclined to think that 1903 is incorrect unless someone can provide a source that is valid by WP standards.
