Untitled[edit]

I really resent it when someone edits the personal comments of others. Someone from IP address 63.199.102.144 - assigned to Marie Callender Pies - changed some words. I have reverted them back to the original (the Marie Callender twerp replaced "bad" with "good" in the two comments above). Listen dumbass: If you disagree with something, then say so, but DO NOT PUT WORDS IN OTHERS' MOUTHS. Fortunately Wikipedia keeps logs of all past versions. Amatulic 00:08, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Don's Surviving Family Members[edit]

I really mean no disrespect here, but the article states that Don is survived by his daughter and son. The article goes on to list all of the grandkids. Is that necessary or relevant to this article? Maybe a link to Don's obituary would be more appropriate. CoffeeSweet 18:10, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Quick update: for now, I have removed that bit in order to avoid this article from becoming a memorial. Also, the entire section for Don can be tightened up some more and I will be making some good faith edits to do that. Apologies for not making a comment on reasons for my last edits. Merger proposal[edit]

Hi, all: I would like to propose that we merge Marie Callender's with Don Callender. I understand that Don was an entrepreneur and opened four other standalone restaurants, with Marie Callender's being his most famous. However, much of the info for Don's article may be found on the Marie Callender article. Also, as Don's article is a stub-class article at this point, I can see that it could easily be merged with Marie Callender's with a little finesse. Although this would be easy in my eyes (Level 1 Merge), I think a discussion about this (Level 2 Merge) is more appropriate. Thoughts? Coffeesweet (talk) 20:25, 4 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Coffeesweet: Support your proposal, on the grounds you suggest; notable only for the association with Marie Callender's. Klbrain (talk) 17:00, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Coffeesweet: Support your proposal. Absent Marie Callender's there is nothing notable. --P37307 (talk) 17:19, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Coffeesweet: Support your proposal. Of the other four restaurants it looks like only the two Babes' restaurants enjoyed any lasting operation, and that only as a local microchain or series of family restaurants (it's not clear exactly which, though his son runs Babe's Bar-B-Que & Brewery). "Harmony Callender"[edit]

Someone claiming to be a sister to a woman named Harmony Callender has added a paragraph at the end of Don Callender's biography, written in first-person, with no citations.

There is no citation for this Harmony Callender. Neither her existence nor her connection to the Callender family or franchise is established. This should be removed. 2600:1700:7C70:880:95B2:ED3:6BA2:785F (talk) 20:20, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
