His death

I seem to remember news reports that he was murdered during a robbery at his house, or that he later died of injuries sustained during that robbery. Local Armenian mafia were supposed to have been involved. Any info anyone? Meowy 01:05, 19 April 2012 (UTC)

On Abby Grey

The cited article by Shiva Balaghi “Abby Weed Grey and Parviz Tanavoli” never says that Grey is an artist, art dealer, or gallerist, just that she collected Iranian art, helped organize exhibitions, and that her collection is in a museum. So she would most accurately be described as a collector and donor, I think. Feel free to double check the article though. Smbeus (talk) 22:19, 23 October 2019 (UTC)

I am sorry for the confusion, I thought it was a Gallery link for a citation (via the WP watch page), which it is obviously not. The WP article sentence in question is "Grey went on to later become an art dealer and gallerist and specialized in Modern Iranian art with her large collection and influencing many artists." The subject of this article is about Grey Art Gallery, a gallery named after Abby Weed Grey. I am noticing the word "donor" is missing however? She is described as a collector in the sentence prior and by owning a gallery (you collect, sell and trade which is mentioned in the linked article). I see, perhaps we can reword this then back to something closer to what you had. Ideally we will need a new source or sources though, seeing that this is a primary source. How does this sound, "In 1975, Grey donated her collection of art to form the New York University art museum, named Grey Art Gallery." It establishes she donated and she collected.
