Split article[edit]

I've now removed the "split" tag (the one that says "It has been suggested that this article be split into multiple articles accessible from a disambiguation page. (Discuss)"). I did this because nobody has discussed this ever since the tag was places there about seven weeks ago. --A bit iffy 06:22, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Major Benjy[edit]

I confess this only arrived yesterday and I've yet to read it but be it good or bad it is now part of the cannon, if only peripherally as it apparently concentrates on Major Flint and the other supporting characters like Diva. I'll re-visit this page once I've finished the book. --Paulatthehug (talk) 18:27, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Holt, Fraser-Sampson, and other authors[edit]

I'm wondering if the article ought to differentiate between post-Benson Lucia books written by established authors and published by established publishers (Holt and Fraser-Sampson?); and those written by authors who might be "unknown" self-published writers. (For one thing, did Holt and/or Fraser-Sampson have the blessing of the Benson estate, even if permission might not have been required?) I'm guessing that, for Wikipedia purposes, a list of post-Benson items in the series should probably not extend to fanfic. Are some of those items essentially fanfic rather than notable additions to the canon? (I've just glanced at List of authors of new Sherlock Holmes stories for comparison, and I see that most of the authors listed there are of such a stature as to have their own Wikipedia articles--so clearly a lot of the more fanfic-level stuff has been left out.)
