Unbalanced[edit]

I am going to be putting a POV template on this page. For it to be removed, the following actions need to be carried out:

Include WP:Full citations for al lthe sources.
For those sources that are not available online, add quotations from the sources that verify the claimed content.
Ensure that the sources are WP:HISTRS and remove any sources that are not.
Since this is a page on "Manipuri-Burmese wars", it would also be necessary to include Burmese sources, or WP:THIRDPARTY sources.
The article currently covers only the period of one Manipuri ruler, Gharibniwaz. But the wars continued after his time. They need to be covered as well.

Then don't remove the page , I will add some burmese sources and the article name shall be changed to = Manipuri - Burmese Wars of 1717-1749, will it be be appropriate then ? Please let me know . InfoHistoric23 (talk) 06:00, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As per your Suggestions , I added third party Sources ( Burmese Sources ) and made the Title of the article appropriate to the subject . InfoHistoric23 (talk) 09:56, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Changing the title is a temporary fix, but the page should be eventually broadened to the later wars. But at the moment I am more worried about the fidelity of the content. Full citations missing. Many sources point to snippets on Google Books, which don't validate the content. So, quotations are required. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 11:10, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

And also, it is not just enough to add citations to Burmese history here and there for eye wash. Their viewpoints need to be studied and represented in the article. Until that happens, the POV tag will remain. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 11:51, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
