Citations...

Seriously, I know absolutely nothing about baseball, so I don't feel qualified to make any modifications, but this is a massive article... that relies on only a single source. Sure, several of these scandals have primary articles, but those that don't are riddled with "citation needed" tags... and it has purportedly been nearly 4 years since anything was done about it. Still more claims and no inline citations after 8 years. I've slapped a couple more tags on the article. Per WP:PROVEIT, just about all of this article can be blanked at any time since it has no clear source, particularly in the case of claims about still-living people, per WP:BLP. --Closeapple (talk) 19:55, 4 March 2020 (UTC)

Suggested revisions to this page

This article still has two citations needed, as well as a section, 1919 Aftermath, without citations. A section on the live ball era should be added. I feel this would be a valid section due to the allegations that MLB has tinkered with the structure of the baseball to make it fly farther in order to increase home runs and boost the popularity of the sport, while disregarding the historical/statistical record that the game is known for. While some of the sections link to other main articles that expound upon that particular section, others do not. Two of the references do not work and another reference is to a review of a book written by Pete Rose, which is an opinion piece. Jahnphx (talk) 18:55, 6 September 2017 (UTC)

Add the Electronic Stealing Scandal

With the Astros and Red Sox confirmed to have cheated by electronically stealing signs in 2017 and 2018, respectively, it is undeniable that this has become the largest scandal in MLB in recent memory.
