Discussion re Deletion of Main Street (Buffalo)[edit]

In talking with the creator of this Wikipedia article, User:Piffner, we agreed that this content would be better in the main article for Buffalo, NY or Transportation in Buffalo, New York as the street, as a topic, is not obviously notable on its own. Piffner has now included this article content there.

Given this article is redundant I have locked it for further edits, but will leave this talk page open for comments. My plan is to remove this article in a few days, and I invite discussion if anyone feels that this should remain. --Zippy (talk) 19:05, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect it to Transportation in Buffalo, New York where the content has been moved to? You can do that now without waiting. -- Malcolmxl5 (talk) 04:36, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with the redirect. GünniX (talk) 05:36, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Agree with better target redirect --Iztwoz (talk) 08:49, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I also agree with the targeted redirect. CollectiveSolidarity (talk) 13:30, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Zippy. Redirects are not fully protected (absence some very good reasons, none of which I see here). Can you unprotect please? -- Malcolmxl5 (talk) 08:46, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi User:Malcolmxl5 I cleared the protection on redirecting the page. The page shows as unprotected to me. Are you perhaps seeing a cached version? --Zippy (talk) 23:17, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Correction, I was looking at protection on the target of the redirect, thank you for pointing out the oversight! Fixed. --Zippy (talk) 23:22, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
