There are multiple petitions. Not just the one cited. Additionally there are various threads on popular boards. The magic change wasn't popular and wasn't even particularly intuitive - as has been pointed out the stack now exists for everything but combat so instead of one consistent system for handling spells and speed there are two: one for combat, one for everything else. 24.143.119.153 (talk) 08:00, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This entry reads like an ad for WotC/Hasbro. Two of the rules changes (particularly removing the stack in combat and eliminating manaburn) 'dumbed' down the game and were/are disliked by a number of 'old-school' players. 24.143.119.153 (talk) 18:25, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is such a major change I think this page should have a "reception" section. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.111.131.252 (talk) 21:36, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Do you know of any reliable sources for it? --Ashenai (talk) 21:42, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

this article is not substantially different in form or content from other set articles, which were not marked {advert}. Therefore I removed that note from this page. Changes you dislike are not a reason why this is advertising. 96.45.208.254 (talk) 18:21, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
