Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted because...

1. she is as notable in the postcolonial Indian charity scene as Mother Teresa, except that she wasn't looked upon favourably by the Anglo Saxon establishment for a Nobel prize and other such praise. 2. it is she who exercises the greatest amount of influence on the French (ethnic and linguistic) community of Maharashtra. 3. unlike Mother Teresa and other such celebrities, her work of charity has not yet been contested or called into question on grounds of morality and she thus merits greater attention than the usual Church-declared saint.

Agreed. I've removed the deletion notice. I wasn't able to see any notability in the article originally, but it seems notable now. Keep up the good work! Also, in the future, you may want to consider using a userspace draft for new article creation. This keeps the article in your userspace until it is ready move to the article space.
