keep: the artist in question has releases on Rephlex Records and Planet Mu, both record labels that easily pass WP:N. in addition he's referenced in the main dubstep article

Kode9 commented on a DJ MRK1 (formerly Mark One) track, observing that listeners "have internalized the double-time rhythm" and the "track is so empty it makes [the listener] nervous, and you almost fill in the double time yourself, physically, to compensate" - Invisible Jukebox, The Wire no. 269, July 2006

I'll replace it with notability tag seeing as it's borderline. What it needs, per the guidline linked from the tag, is a few more reliable sources preferably solely about the guy, things like having won awards would do it automatically. Note also you can remove db tags yrself so long as you didn't create the article yourself. Thanx--Bsnowball (talk) 11:58, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
well, for the time being here's some (physical) releases listed on Forced Exposure, here's his page on Planet Mu records, and here's his listing on Boomkat. that would pass muster in any AfD i've been involved in. --Kaini (talk) 01:14, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Wait, does that mean I have to put the tag back on even though it is not needed? Let me know as soon as possible. DubCrazy (talk) 02:18, 3 September 2008 (UTC)DubCrazy[reply]
no, you're fine to remove it as long as you're not the creator of the article --Kaini (talk) 08:41, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
