"The 2016 final was the first to be contested between two expansion teams" - what are expansion teams? Could this term possibly be linked for unfamiliar readers?
"ending in a 1–1 draw at BMO Field on July 2." - BMO Field should be linked here again for accessability
"It was called the most thrilling series in MLS history" - by whom? Sports journalists?
"adding additional seats and a roof to cover the stands at a cost of $150 million" - if BMO Field is in Toronto then shouldn't this be in Canadian dollars?
