Was the subject really known as "Oscar Movies"?[edit]

I have recently revised the article so that every instance of the subject's name isn't rendered as "Director Oscar Movies M. Bashkar". Now, I'm not denying the possibility that he may have been known by this nickname in some circles; but do we have a source? Do some of those words count as honorifics (WP:HONORIFIC)? Surely "Director" is. "Oscar Movies" was the name of his production company, but even if we accept these as part of his name, surely we don't need to use his full name every time. If you look at the Barack Obama article, you'll see that they don't always call him "Barack Hussein Obama, Jr." Once is enough for the full name. If you have an opinion on this issue or object to my revisions, by all means comment here and we can discuss. Tigercompanion25 (talk) 14:49, 13 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Following the passing of Film News Anandan, I have concluded that this kind of naming convention is "a thing" in the Indian film world and have thusly reverted my relevant edit. Tigercompanion25 (talk) 17:18, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
