Article Tags[edit]

Before removing any tags from this article, it would be a good idea to address the issues which caused their placement. As of now, the article still remains uncategorized. It also provides no references or secondary sources -- especially for claims of accomplishments and awards. And as such, it fails to meet basic notability requirements. (A quick Google search provided no information about her.) I am replacing the tags in hope that this information can be provided rather than submit the article for deletion. Thank you, Cactus. I don't know where to go to prove her accomplishments, or to verify any of these facts. What do you suggest?
Also, her birth year is incorrect. She was born in 1925. I didn't find that out until I accessed Ancestry.com. She was very sensitive about her age and got away with fudging on her birth year.
I'd like to make her page more legitimate. It may take me a while to get back though. I'm open to any and all suggestions.
Warmest regards. 164.67.136.165 (talk) 23:48, 31 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I will get in touch with the telvision stations in Denver and Bakersfield--that's a start. Ddwp516 (talk) 00:07, 1 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Lynn C. Noel began her television reporting career in 1965. I don't know of any other female, African-American television news reporters at that time. She, certainly, was the first in Denver, CO. Someone will have to investigate as to whom was the first female, African-American television news reporter in the nation. She is among the few who were.
