Info[edit]

Born 1968 in Victoria, Lynette came to WA when she was 3. Competed in little athletics from the age of 9 and went on to compete in senior athletics. She came 3rd in the trial triple jump for women in 1986, held in Tasmania. Went on to be the inaugural winner in both senior and junior National Championship held in Sydney, 1987. After her triple jump couldn't take her any further due to triple jump not being an event in higher levels, Lynette went on to play AFL for Melville in 1989, became a life member of the WAWFL and East Fremantle Women's Football Club (formerly Melville). She was also in the inaugural state team in 1994. Lynette still plays football in a Masters Competition for Harrisdale/Piara Waters and competes in the National AFL Masters Carnival yearly. Lynette has three adult sons.
