Can someone take a look at Mosque of Abu Haggag please. Kappa 21:15, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Yes there should be a section about the mosque as well, but there's not much information available, even the page about the mosque it self contains only a few words about the mosque and more about the person it is named after. Will be looking in to it. Moughera (talk) 11:05, 29 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

"He" still watches over the temple he built to his gods[edit]

The picture showing a statue of a pharaoh has a legend saying "3400 years later, he still watches over the temple he built to his gods". Who is "he"? Ramesses II, Amenhotep III? Both took part in the construction. Pardon my ignorance. PoisonedQuill 10:45, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Coordinate error[edit]

{{geodata-check}}

The coordinates need the following fixes: The coordinates for luxor temple, in egypt are off in the Google Earth Link. They should be 25° 42′ 0″ N, 32° 38′ 21″ E

And not the reported 25 42 24 14 , 32 38 36.26 (Which places the viewer far north of the temple, off screen.)

The coordinates in the article are correct and the problem is a Google Earth (and sometimes Google Maps) problem which will sometimes take you to the wrong place even if the correct coordinates are passed to them. Google Earth will usually take you to the correct place in this situation if you click the "w/ meta data" link in GeoHack instead of the "Open" link. The problem isn't ours, but Google's. — TRANSPORTERMAN (TALK) 18:42, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
