Rename the page to LUNA SEA[edit]

The band name is always typeset as LUNA SEA in capitals rather than Luna Sea. Szxx (talk) 09:58, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notable band[edit]

Please do not speedy or Afd this article without discussion first. There is enough in the external references to indicate this is actually a notable band in Japan along with FAKE?. Anyone that knows Japanese, please look into any media coverage this band may have had. Thank you. --ElectricEye 20:21, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. They are a notable band in Japan. :: Colin Keigher 18:09, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Post-Luna Sea projects[edit]

The amount of text dedicated to the members' individual careers after the breakup seems awfully long when compared to the overall article. Shouldn't this information be kept very brief here and elaborated in articles about those other projects? Also, there has to be more to a decade-spanning career of a popular rock band than what's in the few sentences which remain. - Cyrus XIII 00:38, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re-formating[edit]

There's an absurdly long 13 subsections in the history section. I'm by no means the authority on LUNA SEA, but if no one else will do it, I'll compress the sections into fewer, more overarching paragraphs. Cooldra01 (talk) 16:11, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page[edit]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Progressive/punk rock?[edit]

I know there's some debate about how to best define rock music by (former) visual kei bands, but nowhere are Luna Sea cited as proponents of progressive or punk rock. Suggest removal of these two labels? Danish Ranger 22:54, 29 July 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Danish Ranger (talkcontribs)

The genres come from reliable sources in the "Musical style and influence" section. This SF Weekly interview [1] has Sugizo state "At first our style was very hardcore punk" and although this AllMusic source [2] does not specifically say progressive rock, it does say they have a "versatile progressive approach to songwriting."
