Untitled[edit]

I completely disagree with removing this article. Luis de Villanueva y Zapata was the Spanish colonial official in charge of half of the Spanish possessions in the New World for more than a year. He was acting viceroy of New Spain. His name appears on lists in this capacity not only at Wikipedia, but also at the government of Mexico site here: [1]. This is asserted in the article, but I will make it more prominent.

The fact that there is not a lot of information about him does not make him unworthy of note. And I hope to find addition sources for biographical and politial information.

I also completely disagree with deleting it. This is A historial article providing context - he was the viceroy of a colonial country - this is adequate as a starter stub although more info needed to make it important article. I suggest templating it with an expand tag. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 18:54, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
