Swearing AllegianceLove's Deadly Triangle: The Texas Cadet Murder – As per the article's lede: "Swearing Allegiance (US title: Love's Deadly Triangle: The Texas Cadet Murder) is a 1997 American drama television film..." The issue here is that this movie is an American TV movie, and aired in the U.S. first on NBC under the title "Love's Deadly Triangle: The Texas Cadet Murder". Therefore that should be the article's title, not the title subsequently used for non-U.S. airings, etc... --IJBall (contribstalk) 04:34, 24 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. "Swearing allegiance" can also refer to taking an oath, so this isn't a good title anyway. Using an alternate title is better than using parenthetical disambiguation, but in this case, it's also the original broadcast title, which is preferred for other reasons. 209.211.131.181 (talk) 22:01, 24 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
