Louis Tikas was a Greek immigrant worker who murdered during the Ludlow massacre in 1914.

Luis Tikas was born in 1886 in Crete and his Greek name was Ηλίας Σπαντιδάκης (Elias Sapntidakis). He came in USA in 1906 and lived in Pueblo Colorado. He had several jobs and finally he became a mine worker in Ludlow where many Greek immigrants worked.

He was the leader of the great strike which took place there from October 1913 to April 1914. Lt. Karl Linderfelt murdered him in the 20th of April.

He is among the heroes of the American Workers Muvement.
