POV issues[edit]

NPOV- This article is written as propaganda : lack of potentially negative information such as her role in her father's autocratic government.Armando Navarro (talk) 01:40, 15 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I removed all the stuff about Uzbekistan 2020, which seemed cut-and-pasted from the press release, and also a lot of the material about the benefits of her charitable work, instead just stating that she's involved in such activities. I think that takes care of the POV issues. Issues about her father's dictatorial rule are explained well in his article and others on Uzbekistan - I don't see a reason to repeat them here, unless she's somehow directly involved (and then any mention would still require sources). She tried to sue a French newspaper for libel after they described her as the daughter of a dictator: http://en.rsf.org/ouzbekistan-dictator-s-daughter-loses-libel-01-07-2011,40307.html

http://cpj.org/blog/2011/05/french-news-site-must-prove-uzbekistan-is-a-dictat.php This issue should definitely be in her entry.--Vlad the Impaler (talk) 20:36, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
