Untitled[edit]

The current redirection from "logic game" to "game semantics" is absurd. It has probably been created with the purpose of attracting attention to a very specialised scientific topic that would otherwise have few readers - and obviously not with the purpose of objective information about what everybody knows as "logic games".

An article named "Logic games" (as of today inexistent on Wikipedia) should be about Sudoku, Futoshiki, Kakuro and tens of other logic games. It should list the known logic games, approaches common to all of them (if any) and pointers to a specialised article for each game.

"Game semantics" is a subpart of model theory (the semantic side of logic), which is a subpart of mathematical logic.

If there is no objection, I'll delete the redirection and start an article along the previous lines. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.46.56.63 (talk) 06:17, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Alas there seem to be no sources that deal with 'logic games' as a whole under this terminology. So it looks like an article would involve a fair bit of WP:OR. If you can find a sourced definition for what a 'logic game' is, we can turn it into a wp:dab. We do have an article on strategy game and another on game of skill (which I suspect is what you mean). Ok, I've made into a dab with logic puzzle for now. Sudoku is indeed called a "logic game" sometimes [1]. Tijfo098 (talk) 11:20, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I was not aware of the "logic puzzle" article. You have found the good solution. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.140.2.221 (talk) 09:56, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
