Versfeldt[edit]

Isn't Loftus Versfeld misspelt? I'm under the impression the name requires a "t" at the end: Loftus Versfeldt.

Please comment.

People do refer to the stadium as "Loftus Versfeldt" (among other names), but since it's a stadium, the full name is "Loftus Versfeldt Stadium". ;) I personally like "Fortus Loftus". ObseloV (talk) 05:11, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stadium[edit]

Is Loftus Versfeld Stadium the actual name of the ground? I've been a semi-dedicated Blue Bull fan for a couple years now (though in the US, not South Africa) and I've never heard it called that. It's always Loftus Versfeld. Even the official logo of the stadium uses no suffix, and all Blue Bulls website references also do not use the suffix. In lieu of better evidence, I believe the proper name is simply Loftus Versfeld, with no suffix, like Lansdowne Road or Carisbrook. PsychedelicCeltic 08:25, 3 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
