Could it please be explained to me how selling over 100,00 units of their album in the UK does not qualify the album for gold certification? Or why is the official charts company, which keeps track of record sales in the UK ,not a reliable source? Their album was 39th best selling album in the UK of 2012. Surely this is enough evidence? other charted songs

I removed that section in the discography, because there are no sources that says that those song are actually charted. so that's why I removed it. if you put it back please add the sources in which says that those songs are charted. don't blame me for removing it. They don't need to be removed. As I mentioned in response to your message on my talk page, the info is notable and isn't controversial so there is no need to remove it. 99% false

DNA never sold 2.000.000 copies in the world... 300.000 in the Uk and 100.000 in the US. I have no idea were 1.600.000 copies are?

Japan sales

Someone keeps reporting that Little Mix peaked at number 1 with Salute and number 4 with DNA. Those are false. Oricon is the official album chart in Japan and neither of those albums have reached the top 10. Their most recent sales are:

In regards to "DNA" on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Chart on the discography table

"On singles discography tables, do not add 100 to a Bubbling Under peak if the song never entered the corresponding chart(i.e Billboard Hot 100 and Bubbling Under Hot 100 or R&B/Hip-Hop Singles and Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles). Doing so would violate WP:SYNTH by creating information not directly supported by the source (i.e. the notion that the Bubbling Under chart is an extension to the main chart and the position). It should be indicated as an uncharted song with a footnote to indicate the Bubbling Under peak. In the song's article, just indicate it as a Bubbling Under peak, so long as it is verifiable. If an artist has had Bubbling Under entries but no songs that entered the Hot 100 proper, or has had multiple Bubbling Under entries, discography tables may use a separate "Bubbling Under" column to save on footnotes." - Wikipedia's guide to writing bubbling under Billboard charts.

"DNA" peaked at #14 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart and technically did not chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Hi bae. First thing overall, I want to correct you: a promotional single isn't "something that is released in promotion to help them become famous", it is just a single that is made available (...)for the express purpose of promoting a forthcoming commercial single or an entirely new album. A song may be released as a promotional single even if no commercial version of the single is available to buy. In the page you've cited it isn't say that the song is an official single, the page just say that the song entered on the chart: not every song that is charted is a single. In the second page you've cited you can clearly see that the latest single release was "Black Magic". By last, the song lacks of an artwork and it was released with the album artwork: maybe it isn't outstanding, but it's a hint to let us know that the song is promoting the album. certifications

@Ssshuke: in a discography article like this, we only include certifications from the ten countries included in the discography table, otherwise it can become ludicrously long and cluttered. The individual article for each song or album will show all the certifications for that particular record. It's not Wikipedia's job to try and impress readers with the number of gold or platinum discs an artist has received... and anyway, these days they aren't given for "sales", just for number of listens... ;-) Richard3120 (talk) 23:12, 27 December 2018 (UTC)

I don't, because you can get a certification for almost anything nowadays, even an unreleased song such as this one, so I consider them pretty meaningless awards these days. But if people like them, fair enough. Richard3120 (talk) 22:17, 27 February 2021 (UTC)
