Notability[edit]

By "notable" composer I mean any composer listed in the Grove. I think we can all agree on this criterion. Anton Mravcek 22:04, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Wikipedia notability standards should I think be followed instead. Generally, if the composer has a page not in threat of deletion... (indeed, I wouldn't agree with raising the Grove to the right of exclusion and inclusion; it gets too much wrong in too many ways. This site, at least, is fixable.) Stravinsky[edit]

I wouldn't include Stravinsky; he was clear on the point that it was a symphony in C but not C major or C minor, and we should be too. ELSchissel (talk) 16:20, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Order suggestion[edit]

I think this list (as well as the rest of "Symphonies in X tonality" lists) would greatly benefit from adding some kind of order; either alphabetical or by date of composition. 212.106.238.163 (talk) 13:51, 18 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
