Covers

Is it really necessary to put "cover" in the notes column when that is implied when you see something other than Lennon, McCartney, Harrison, or Starkey in the composer(s) column? Democraticmacguitarist (talk) 18:26, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

The album Liverpool Sound Collage, a 2000 studio album by Paul McCartney, has four of it's five songs credited with The Beatles. These being "Plastic Beetle", "Peter Blake 2000", "Made Up" and "Free Now". They are credited as both performers and writers. Sure, it's old stuff remixed into it by McCartney but it's all their exsisting, carrying The Beatles legend under performer. Signed and timed: --77.99.231.37 (talk) 20:00, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

Official releases

If we're going to include botlegs and demos - this list will never work out. Why don't we simply include only Officially Released songs, state that in the introduction, and point out that there are numerous bootlegs not included? CentraCross (talk) 17:24, 21 October 2010 (UTC)

George Martin compositions

Should we include George Martin's Orchestral Compositions (7(seven) tracks from Yellow submarine and "A Begining")? CentraCross (talk) 16:36, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

"A Beginning" is on the list, but the list should also include the seven other orchestral compositions by George Martin. These seven songs are: "March of the Meanies", "Pepperland", "Pepperland Laid Waste", "Sea of Holes", "Sea of Monsters", "Sea of Time", "Yellow Submarine in Pepperland". --Snowconeboy789 02:32, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

Number of songs?

Does anyone know how many songs they made in total? Xozny 17:40, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Well, the intro to this list said at a certain point it would contain 280 songs. If someone wants to double check and count the entries, we could re-enter it. --Tikiwont 08:08, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
I got 282 total songs. --Wiki131wiki (talk) 22:11, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
I copied every song to "Microsoft Word", and made sure every song wasn't over 1 line. Then i went to word count, and saw that it said that there were 307 lines. That means that there were 307 songs, but this may change in the future because of the "To Be Added" section higher up in the page, and due to the fact that there are several sites that have songs nowhere on the list. To go to these sites, there are a few links in the "To Be Added" section higher up in this page. --Snowconeboy789 02:32, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

I just recounted the songs the same way that I did before because I saw a song that wasn't there before, and this time I got 305. Did someone delete a song, because that would be horrible. Never mind, I messed up while counting the first time, there was never 307 songs, always 306. Snowconeboy789 21:47, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
