Baden[edit]

as baden was grand duchy its the question if they really hasd a crown--Tresckow 12:13, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The dukes used a heraldic royal crown as Sovereigns. It's the same as the Grand Dukes of Luxembourg and the Princes of Monaco. They remain the royal crown in the German Empire.--Buho09 (talk) 18:04, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Additional Crowns[edit]

It seems like inclusion on this list is random. This article is clearly global as it includes crowns from Europe, Africa, & Asia. However, when compared to the "Crown Jewels" article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crown_jewels), it is missing several countries- most notably from Africa. Moreover, the 'Royal Crowns' article does not seem to have a qualification that the crown itself needs an article, as many articles link to their country's corresponding Crown Jewels article. Can we add additional crowns? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ledvelvet21 (talkcontribs) 14:55, 26 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
