Reruns

Benson should be removed. Wings should probably be added, because much like Night Court, Simon and Simon, Knight Rider, etc., they still have the rights to air it for a few more years. Also think The Cosby Show should be added, since they've been running lots of mini-marathons and have more scheduled. --Kgmetal 08:44, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

There were numerous other reruns on TV Land circa 1997 and 1998 which are not shown here, such as "Daniel Boone" (which was also rerun briefly in 2006), "My Mother the Car", "Have Gun Will Travel", the B&W half-hour episodes of Gunsmoke (1955-61) which were sometimes rerun/syndicated as "Marshall Dillon", "Burke's Law" / "Amos Burke: Secret Agent", "Richard Diamond, Private Detective", "Trackdown", and several other Viacom-syndicated and 4-Star westerns and dramas of the 1950s/60s. "The Fugitive" (original 1960s David Jansen version) was briefly rerun on TV Land circa 2000. In 1999, several Warner Brothers 1950s/60s westerns and dramas were rerun on TV Land, such as "Maverick", "Cheyenne", "Bronco", "Hawaiian Eye", and maybe even "77 Sunset Strip". Also circa 1998/99, some other 1950s-era CBS and/or Desilu sitcoms were aired such as "Our Miss Brooks", "December Bride", and "Sgt.Bilko" aka "You'll Never Get Rich". The "Lucy-Desi Hours" were rerun in early 2002. The 1949/50 Jackie Gleason "Life of Riley" was rerun on TV Land in the late 1990s, as was "Dobie Gillis", "Abbott & Costello" - the early 1950s sitcom, "Joey Bishop" - the early 1960s sitcom, etc.

Also, I Dream of Jeannie and Bewitched started in May 2003 on TV Land and were still on as late as early 2006, and now on TV Land, they are currently on hiatus. There were also several other 1950s/60s TV shows which had been rerun on TV Land in the later 1990s which aren't necessarily listed here, but I can't remember them offhand right now.70.189.33.226 (talk) 04:54, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

"Happy Days" was rerun on TV Land for several years, continuing through at least the end of 2006. (They had promos for M*A*S*H when it started in Jan.2007, that "Happy Days" was leaving the schedule to make way for "M*A*S*H"). And weren't Laverne & Shirley as well as some other (Paramount Television) spin-offs from "Happy Days" also rerun on TV Land as well at one-time-or-another?70.189.33.226 (talk) 18:57, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

I Don't Remember These...

I don't remember these shows even being on the schedule, let alone seeing them. They are...

  • Beany and Cecil Show (1998–2001)
  • Celebrity Circus (1998–2001)
  • Dragnet (1998–2001)
  • He & She (1998–2001)
  • The Smurfs (1998–2001)
  • Solid Gold (1998–2001)

I may be a little dubious about some of them (or they were very early on), but I'm not sure about some of them. WAVY 10 18:35, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Some are possible (Donna Reed, maybe on Better Living Through Television Sundays?) but I think it's safe to delete most of those. ("Rhoda" and "Phyllis" probably made some one-day appearances on MTM marathon weekends.) Lambertman 14:34, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

I seem to remember that "Rhoda" had a regular run on TV Land circa 1998 or 1999 (or 2000). "Phyllis", and also the short-lived 1977 CBS/MTM "Betty White Show", were occasionally rerun on TV Land, such as the MTM marathon mentioned above. I also seem to remember a Christmas-themed "Phyllis" episode run on TV Land in the late 1990s-era on one of their "Merrythons". I don't remember "Here's Lucy" rerun at all on TV Land. The Lifetime Channel (Television for Women) did rerun "Here's Lucy" circa 1999/2000 though. A few episodes of "I Spy" was rerun on TV Land a few times in the late 1990s during Februrary for Black History Month since Bill Cosby was one of the co-stars. Also not yet mentiond, is that various other "Brady" shows have been rerun on TV Land, during special "Brady-thons", including the "Brady Kids" cartoons, the "Brady Bunch Variety Hour" from 1976/77, and some of the later "Brady" specials. 70.189.33.226 (talk) 18:48, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

_________

HERE'S THE RUNDOWN...

Tabitha? YES (during KITSCH-en SHTICK block from the early 2000's with Fred Willard and Martin Mull as hosts, their type of programming during this block were the obscure, short-lived, culty shows, like Shazam!) "Just the Ten of Us" was also part of this block, presented as the "unexplainable spin-off to Growing Pains...the child they never wanted".

Diff'rent Strokes was on the channel when they had "weekend marathons" of popular shows that were either at the time being shown on TV Land or Nick at Nite. this was around 2003. "The Wonder Years" was part of this due to its short-lived run on Nick at Nite at the time.

"Rhoda" did show up occasionally when "MTM" was part of the schedule. "Phyllis" made the one-off appearance on the schedule. (Trivia: "Lou Grant" is the only Mary Tyler Moore Show spin-off NOT to have ever been on TV Land)

"Alice" is a tricky one. technically, it was on the air...just not for the two years anyone ever claims to had. it's "legitimate" 2 years is from the slot it had on TNN (The Nashville Network) and it's brief transition to (The National Network) before it eventually became Spike. it's ONE-TIME ONLY airing on TV Land was during the 50th Anniversary of Warner Bros. Television in 2005, which also saw the "strange" ONE-TIME ONLY airing of "Third Watch" on TV Land.

"Donna Reed"? OF COURSE! it was part of the initial line-up when TV Land first started. it was usually paired up following "Make Room for Daddy".

"Here's Lucy"? possibly, with all the "Lucy"-related programs.

"The Bold Ones"? never heard of it, though it's possible.

"I Spy"? possibly.

"Eight is Enough"? no. it was part of the first year line-up of FX, when they aired reruns of "Fantasy Island", "Wonder Woman" and "Hart to Hart".

"Cagney and Lacey"? no.

"Charles in Charge"? no. it had a 6-month run on Nick at Nite in the 5 am slot, just before "Pinky and the Brain" in 2003.

"ZOOM"? are you crazy?!? TV Land HAS NEVER...and WILL PROBABLY NEVER...air reruns of PBS children's programming!

it might sound sad that i know all that. but, you asked and i had the answers.

Future Shows

How can TV Land be adding those shows when only one of them debuted before 2000? 67.188.172.165 23:06, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

Future TV Land Shows

TV Land shows

Just Shoot Me is no longer on TV LAND it's now on Comedy Central 70.238.184.156 (talk) 17:41, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
There is a vandal who uses different IP numbers nearly each time he posts. He has been, and continues to, post false future-based information and false show information on this page and others. Beware of the information posted by this individual. His telltale mark is of posting "leaving" and "returning" dates far in the future. --Mhking 17:18, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

unless someone can provide links for LOIS AND CLARK, SISTER SISTER, and HANGIN WITH MR. COOPER about being announced as part of the future line-up...i'm deleting!!!

GUIDING LIGHT?!?! TV Land has never and best bet WILL NEVER air reruns of daytime soap operas. if soaps are your thing, you'd have a shorter time to hold your breath if you said DALLAS or KNOTS LANDING —Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.229.104.126 (talk) 07:52, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Wings

They stopped that a year ago! If no contradicting comment, I will remove it. Basketball110 :) 00:32, 21 February 2008 (UTC) can yall bring gillegan island back on

OMG Its about time the show left ABC Family they suck! Matthew Cantrell (talk) 02:49, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

The Family Matters and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air coming to TV LAND rumor is true!

Nick at Nite has to downsize their programming to make room for new shows so after January 2010 they will only be showing Malcolm in the Middle,Geroge Lopez,Glenn Martin,DDS,Everybody Hates Chris & The Nanny until April. Matthew Cantrell (talk) 18:39, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

New Shows & Too Much Marathons

I suggested to realize that some of them are coming to TV Land and most of all that some boards are missing by the programming depeatment on TV Land. Most shows will have the board set that is coming to TV Land. The Nanny starting in May, The Waltons starting in July, and That 70s Show starting in September. We don't have exception all because of TV Land puts too many marathons. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.6.228.215 (talk) 22:59, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Constant vandalism=, October 2010

This page is FULL of CONSTANT vandalism of information that isn't true and providing false references, such as saying shows are coming that truly aren't. Is there a way it can be blocked? These unregistered users are editing it and adding a bunch of lies about shows coming that really aren't. ChrisJsc (talk) 18:33, 4 October 2010 (UTC) Missingback55 (talk) 05:49, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

The Nanny is already listed in the article under "Future programs". Pinkadelica 06:28, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

Married with Children

TV Land just obtained it for the third time during a Bewitched episode I saw a promo announcing it as "Coming Up Next" 76.215.108.68 (talk) 22:41, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

Guiding Light & As the world Turns

there has been a user who "thinks" these soaps are coming to TV Land this has going on for the last 3 or 4 years i don't know (dispite the fact that it's always unsourced) i need some help to clearing this up once and for all Digifan23 (talk) 01:43, 3 July 2013 (UTC)

I don't think Paid Programing and Movies shouldn't be part of this because

1. Paid Programing airs on almost ever network

2. WP:NOTTVGUIDE it looks more like TV Guide contentDigifan23 (talk) 22:49, 12 July 2013 (UTC)

The Ropers and There's a Crowd

Both The Ropers and Three's a Crowd were aired briefly on TV Land in 2006. There's a video intro for The Ropers that shows the TV Land logo and Viacom's rating. While I can't find proof for "Three's a Crowd" there is an image circulating on the internet that also show TV Land's then current TV rating logo. Matthew Cantrell (talk) 03:38, 24 July 2015 (UTC)

Could you please remove the two programs Archie Bunker's Place and Bosom Buddies from your list of TV Land programs? They don't belong here, anyway. Thank you. AdamDeanHall (talk) 13:57, 14 April 2017 (UTC)

A new show

The Beverilly Hillbillies should be added to the list of future shows. Of course if you want to, go ahead and add it to current shows because it is coming starting December 29, 2007 with a marathon. Thanks. If its already on the list ignore this post. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ryanw14 (talkcontribs) 15:21, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

What do you make of these? WAVY 10 Fan (talk) 18:41, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

TV LAND will air Home Improvement in 2010 but if Family Matters left Nick at Nite it would probably go to BET I can imagine Saved by the Bell,Step by Step & Mama's Family airing since theyy are rarely syndicated ok SbS is on ABC Family but they suck Matthew Cantrell (talk) 21:53, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
Actually The Nanny has left Lifetime Television and will go to Nick at Nite who will then drop it and give it tot TV Land to air in April 2010 Matthew Cantrell (talk) 12:46, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

ROC did air on TV LAND upon the channel's launch. it lasted about a year before leaving and occasionally popping up on TV One and BET. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tjheesch (talkcontribs) 21:06, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

TV Land News for May 2010

I happen to know The Brady Bunch is leaving TV Land in May 2010 and now TV Land Fans might wanna replace the current program and bring back some 1980's stuff like Family Ties, Growing Pains, Wings, Full House, The Facts of Life, Diff'rent Strokes, Mork & Mindy, Who's the Boss?, The Wonder Years, and Amen. And for the shows from oldies are The Donna Reed Show, Dennis the Menace, The Patty Duke Show, Three Stooges, and Gilligan's Island. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.7.72.78 (talk) 04:00, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
