comment/explanation[edit]

This list is a cut and paste from a former section of History of broadcasting in Australia in an effort to reduce size and improve readability of of that article, but hopefully will now have a life in its own right. Enjoy!--Samuel.dellit (talk) 22:55, 29 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

G'day Guys, I have added two new sections for newspaper owners / managers and journalists, but have little knowledge in these areas. I would be grateful if those for knowledgeable could more fully populate these lists.--Samuel.dellit (talk) 23:24, 29 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

opinion[edit]

too much a grab bag - needs to hone down to simply telecommunications - the added items not a good idea JarrahTree 11:13, 30 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

With respect, disagree. The professional history researchers in the field today generally categorise themselves within "Communications and Media". The regulator of the day is "Communications and Media". Note talk page for History of broadcasting in Australia where an eventual change of name and scope to History of Communications and Media in Australia has been flagged.--Samuel.dellit (talk) 14:10, 30 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
maybe - adding media and duplicating information already in the australian project - and at least we respectfully agree to disagree - conflating newspaper with radio and television simply misunderstands the separation that already exists in the australian project JarrahTree 14:17, 30 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced template, correct usage?[edit]

The "unreferenced" template has been added to this article a few days ago. Is this appropriate for an article which is a list?--Samuel.dellit (talk) 13:13, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
