Marquis of Santa Cruz[edit]

The tenth Marquis of Santa Cruz was inducted in 1821, and the thirteenth in 1927. The Marquis of Santa Cruz inducted in 1877 must be the eleventh or twelfth; does anyone know which? J S Ayer (talk) 18:53, 21 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure, but the datasource of the list say 11th, so I changed it from 1th to 11th. But there should be a verification if it is correct, by citations about the Person. --Diwas (talk) 03:46, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In the list of Golden Fleece Knights, at 1664, I replaced Nicholas, count Zringski with Nicholas, count of Zrin. Zrínyi (Hungarian), Zrinski (Croatian) means of (the village and castle of) Zrin, today Croatia.

Joseph Bonaparte[edit]

He certainly thought he was. His right was certainly no worse than that of Amadeo I. At any rate, it's not up to us to judge. The dubiousness of his appointments can be highlighted by listing them in a separate section. No new members in 1474[edit]

Johan Rengers ten Post, heer van Scharmer & Dijksterhuis and |Unico II, Baron Ripperda von Farmsum have never been members of the Order of the Golden Fleece. In 1474 the order didn't elect any new members. See the offical member list, written by the Order, printed in: "Liste nominale des chevaliers de l’ordre de la Toison d’or, depuis son instiution jusqu’à nos jours", in: "Das Haus Österreich und der Orden vom Goldenen Vlies". What I can see the list of knights of the Golden Fleece two persons from the Barbiano di Belgioioso family one was price he become Knights of the Golden Fleece 1774 and the other one was Feldmarschalleutnant Imperial Ambassador in Sweden he become Knights of the Golden Fleece 1763.

Numbers Wrap[edit]
