Title[edit]

Erm... "British" Royal Family? That doesn't seem apt for an article that covers the Royal Family in an international sense. Ie. the Queen isn't sovereign of the Order of Australia as Queen of the United Kingdom, nor did the Earl of Wessex receive the Commemorative Medal for the Centennial of Saskatchewan as a foreign representative of Britain. --Ħ MIESIANIACAL 17:53, 29 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. This article should be renamed Brian | (Talk) 10:30, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I see nothing has changed in this regard. --Ħ MIESIANIACAL 21:48, 6 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have moved the page to have a title more in line with the content of the article. --Ħ MIESIANIACAL 21:51, 6 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

List of honours of the Commonwealth realms' royal family by countryList of honours of the British royal family by country – per Wikipedia:Principle of least astonishment. This family is almost universally known as the British royal family. Commonwealth realms' royal family is an unfamiliar neologism. DrKay (talk) 13:58, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Current Royal Family[edit]

It doesnt actually say but is this list of current members of the Royal Family as the inclusion of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother seems out of place? MilborneOne (talk) 19:57, 4 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It looks to me like the page was set up with all persons living at the time, not deceased persons; but persons since deceased were never removed. It looks like a cleanup problem. JohnD39 21:09, 7 July 2017 (UTC) Johnd39 (talk) 21:10, 7 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

New Section?[edit]

Currently, the "Europe" section contains Asian and African nations as well. While there may be some discussion over what Europe's borders are, surely Japan isn't a European country?

I'd recommend moving countries currently listed between 3.15-3.26 (Liberia - UAE) to more accurate sections 174.74.9.238 (talk) 20:46, 17 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed. DrKay (talk) 20:53, 17 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Princess of Wales[edit]

Is it not that the Princess of Wales is also Counsellor of State? I believe this is the case, though not certain on the matter. Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex is not a Counsellor of State. He will never be King, and has effectively been stripped of all his titles. Catherine, Princess of Wales on the other hand is the likely Queen of the United Kingdom and 14 Commonwealth Realms.MorphinESTP (talk) 15:24, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No. You're wrong on both counts. Currently, Harry is eligible to be a counsellor of state and Catherine is not. DrKay (talk) 19:22, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

Multiple images of icons of ribbons and flags are in breach of Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Icons#Do not use too many icons and Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Images#Pertinence and encyclopedic nature. Repeating the same image over and over is especially unnecessary. Images should not be duplicated on the same page. DrKay (talk) 17:29, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
