Merge proposals (3)[edit]

It has been proposed that Department of Environmental Protection, Department of Environmental Management, and Department of Natural Resources be merged with this article. As currently constituted the first two include primarily or exclusively only environmental agencies in the US; the third has mostly agencies from the U.S.

Support, with qualifications: I support these two proposed merges, but would request the maintenance of disambiguation pages for both, as I believe they may continue to be useful. For the Department of Natural Resources article, agencies from Australia and Canada should be added to List of environmental ministries. How much detail for state agencies?[edit]

I fleshed out Massachusetts- but it includes a bit more detail than the other states now. Is it worth breaking out the divisions? In MA, some of the divisions have more authority and recognition than their parents, so it might be confusing not to list them. Of course, all gets messy quickly when dealing with state agencies.GriffinWrigglesworth (talk) 03:34, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Good question. I think it's fine for now. If, in the future, it expands substantially, a separate article can be spun off. Kind regards, DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 10:50, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
